Architects of Justice 2018

Architects of Justice is CLUE's way of honoring and lifting the work of CLUE faith leaders in Orange County. At a time when our ability to accompany workers and their families, people of color, immigrants, and those of persecuted faiths is uniquely challenged, these leaders are at the forefront of our struggle toward a just and sacred society.

The Third Annual Architects of Justice celebration will feature as keynote speaker Maria Elena Durazo, General Vice President for Immigration, Civil Rights and Diversity at UniteHERE. We will also honor Rabbi Stephen J. Einstein of Congregation B’nai Tzedek; Mirvette Judeh, Vice Chair at the Arab American Civic Council; and Juana Melara and Sandra Pezqueda, both members of UniteHERE and workers at Westin Hotel Long Beach and Terrenea Resort. Both women were honored as silence breakers of the #MeToo movement in Time Magazine's People of the Year issue.
