Architects of Justice is CLUE's way of honoring and lifting the work of CLUE faith and community leaders who are building a just and sacred society in Orange County. At a time when our ability to accompany workers and their families, people of color, immigrants, and those of persecuted faiths is uniquely challenged, these leaders are at the forefront of our struggle for civil rights and economic justice.
This year, we are thrilled to recognize Glynndana Shevlin, Disney Worker and UNITEHERE! Local 11 member-leader, and the Disney Workers for their tireless efforts to win a living wage in Anaheim, and to celebrate Farrah Khan, Executive Director of the Newport Mesa Irvine Interfaith Council and Irvine City Councilmember, for her many contributions to grassroots justice activism that is transforming Orange County.
Our exciting evening program will also feature special guest Deacon Roberta Wall of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in San Clemente and the powerful voice of a recent asylum-seeker who is leading immigration justice efforts in our community, and calling us all to renew our commitment to building a just and sacred Orange County.
