Labor in the Pulpit

Every weekend, millions of people come together in houses of worship for comfort, challenge, and community. On Labor Day weekend and throughout the year, CLUE works to start conversations about worker justice by inviting workers to speak to congregations in the time slot normally dedicated to sermons. This enriches and engages the congregation and affirms the power of the worker's voice and story.

In keeping with CLUE's multi-faith model, this program has taken place 'in the pulpit', 'on the bimah', 'in the mosque', and soon 'in the sangha'.
